Job Description

The scope of this role is to support importers and exporters in meeting customs requirements for international shipments.

Responsibilities:

•Prepare customs documentation and ensure that shipments meet all applicable laws to facilitate the import and export of goods. •Accountable for accurate and timely declaration. •Ensure all documents are submitted timely to customs for audit. •Periodical training / updates on the customs matters. •Feedback to the customer (internal and external reporting of the shipments to the customer) by various means (mail, phone, EDI) •Operational troubleshooting •Non-conformance reporting in accordance with the KPI’s. Exemption Type Exempt (Salaried) Job Requirements •Graduate of any discipline or 3-5 years of experience in customs declaration matters within the freight forwarding industry •General knowledge of various local and International shipping and freight forwarding practices is an advantage. •...
