Job Summary:


The Licensed Practical Nurse administers nursing care to designated patients under the direction and supervision of a registered nurse. Performs direct and indirect patient care duties to patients of all ages appropriate to the unit. Effectively interacts with patients, healthcare members, and other agencies while maintaining standards of professional nursing.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Perform direct personal resident care to an assigned group of residents, following the resident Comprehensive Care Plan and care profile.
  • Administer medications according to facility policy and general principles of safe medication administration.
  • Complete treatments and procedures according to facility policy.
  • Direct CNA’s in the performance of their job duties.
  • Observe, evaluate and report significant resident signs/symptoms and/or changes in health care status to the supervising RN or physician, as necessa...
