LICENSED PRACTICAL NURSE (LPN)

Summary: The LPN is responsible for the overall case management, and medication supervision of the residents, including personal care services in the Assisted Living Community Responsibilities include, but not limited to accurate transcribing orders, working with residents doctors and pharmacies to ensure the MAR's are up to date at all times, medication ordering and procurement, hiring and training of the med techs and personal care aides; annual review and ongoing coaching and counseling of the staff members: completion of case management notes, staffing schedule and submitting payroll hours. Ensure that the universal worker concept is implemented. As the leader of the resident care services is expected to develop and maintain a positive atmosphere for residents, families, visitors and staff. This candidate must be approved by the Department of Health.
