Low Voltage Technician

Responsible for installing, maintaining and repairing A/V and security infrastructure in a low voltage environment. The ideal candidate will be able to meet the physical demands of the worksite as well as provide excellent customer service. Essential Job Functions Installs A/V and security equipment per the plans provided for the specific application. Maintain professional attitude with emphasis on safety and customer service. Hang, mount, rack, install, and rig equipment per plans and specifications. Read and Interpret manuals, construction drawings, wiring diagrams, floorplans, and specifications . Properly sets up a variety of testers (fiber and copper). Performs system testing and troubleshooting as required. Terminates, labels, tests, and troubleshoots optical fiber and copper installations.
