Low Voltage Alarm Technician

Seeking a skilled technician to install, service, and troubleshoot access control, CCTV, and intrusion systems in commercial environments. Experience with fire alarm systems is a plus.
Responsibilities

+ Install, program, and maintain security systems (CCTV, access control, intrusion)

+ Troubleshoot and repair low-voltage systems

+ Run wiring and interpret blueprints/schematics

+ Configure networked devices (IP cameras, controllers)

+ Provide strong customer service and document all work

Requirements

+ 3+ years of commercial security system experience

+ Strong troubleshooting and low-voltage skills

+ Ability to read technical drawings

+ Valid driver’s license

Preferred

+ Fire alarm experience

+ Experience with Avigilon, Lenel, Honeywell, Bosch, Genetec

+ Basic networking knowledge (TCP/IP, PoE)

+ Certifications (NICET or manufacturer certs)
