Responsibilities

• Plan or adjust routes using computer equipment, GPS, or other navigation devices to minimize fuel consumption and carbon emissions.
• Navigate mountain driving situations.
• Provide professionalism in customer service.
• Drive as part of a two‑person team or convoy.
• Load and unload goods.
• Obtain special permits and other documents required to transport cargo on international routes.
• Operate straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials.
• Oversee vehicle condition and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment.
• Perform brake adjustments.
