Job Description
Insight Global is seeking a Logistics Specialist to support outbound shipping and freight operations for a global manufacturing organization. This role will own the majority of domestic freight activity, coordinating shipments from scheduling through delivery, while ensuring accuracy, compliance, and cost efficiency.
This role will serve as a key point of contact between internal teams, carriers, and third party logistics providers, while also gaining exposure to international shipping processes through cross‑training. This is a hands on role ideal for someone who enjoys ownership, problem solving, and working in a fast paced, collaborative environment.
Daily Responsibilities:
- Own and coordinate domestic outbound freight shipments (LTL, FTL, dedicated)
- Schedule pickups and deliveries with carriers, brokers, and 3PL partners
- Determine best transportation mode based on cost, timing, and shipment requirements
