Position Summary
The Logistics Specialist will perform delivery of customer’s product by applying knowledge of commercial driving regulations on roads. The specialist will meet the delivery schedule by complying with safety and delivery requirements.
Responsibilities and Duties- To perform delivery of goods and ensure all delivery is on schedule. Assist in loading and unloading of goods.
- To pick and pack goods for delivery to customer site.
- Ensure all the documentation related to the loads is checked.
- Reports and documents discrepancies on orders received to the Immediate Superior.
- Carry out basic vehicle maintenance and checklist procedures.
- Handle delicate and sensitive products with utmost care.
- Conduct work carefully to reduce negative impact/ risk to the environment and health & safety.
