LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST

Summary You will serve as a LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST in the LOGISTICS DEPARTMENT (N4) of MILITARY SEALIFT COMMAND. Responsibilities You will oversee all aspects of standard/non-standard trial order processing, tracking and expediting of CLF load and ship support material and other shipboard requirements. You will oversee centralized inventory management operations of CLF Load commodities including special mission load list and other material requirements. You will monitor daily replication of inventory and financial management data to and from ships to ensure that data replication is functioning properly. You will maintain total asset visibility of ship support material inventories, CLF afloat inventories, shore-based CARGO and Subsistence Prime Vendor (SPV) inventories. You will participate in logistics analyses impacting the MSC organization. You will evaluate supply chain effectiveness supporting CLF re-supply and customer requirements.
