The Lodge Managers at Royal Malewane work alongside the General Manager and Heads of Departments to ensure that our safari properties continue to create memorable experiences that will encourage our guests to return time and again, to this exceptional slice of paradise in the African bush. All of this supports the purpose of The Royal Portfolio, which is to give our guests a complete experience and a perfect stay.
Responsibilities
Leadership – staff recruitment, onboarding, performance reviews, development and training, performance management, disciplinaries,
Hotel operations - ensure the smooth running of all departments around guest needs and movements
Budgeting - assisting departments and management to remain in budget for the year.
Guest Relations - ensuring positive guest feedback and being visible and accessible to guests
Asset upkeep - ensuring functionality and maintenance of buildings, equipment, furniture, grounds, etc.
