Locum Family Physician

Job Description

We are seeking fee-for-service family physicians to provide locum services at the Parkland Integrated Health Centre and Shellbrook Primary Health Care Centre in the Town of Shellbrook. The assignment will cover the following dates and times:

• Friday, September 4th, 8:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m.
• Saturday, September 12th, 8:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m.
• Thursday, September 17th, 8:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m.
• Saturday, September 19th, 8:00 p.m. – 8:00 a.m. (overnight)
• Saturday, September 26th, 8:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m.
• Sunday, September 27th, 8:00 p.m. – 8:00 a.m. (overnight)

The physician will examine patients, take histories, order laboratory tests, X-rays and other diagnostics, prescribe and administer medications, provide pre‑natal and post‑natal care, advise on health promotion, perform emergency care and participate in institutional committees.
