Location: Mackay or Rockhampton
Aurizon is currently seeking a qualified Locomotive Driver based in Mackay or Rockhampton. This opportunity is open to experienced Locomotive Drivers looking to join a company that genuinely values its people and offers a rewarding and supportive working environment.
About the role:
- Working with the Network IML Project team
- Operation of locomotives including mainline, shunting, and marshalling
- Examine and certify trains as ready for departure
- Work in accordance with Aurizon's safety and operational standards and procedures
- Maintain a high level of on-time running
- Prepare and conduct brake testing on locomotives
- Provide high quality customer service to support business objectives
