Live-In Carer, Guernsey.

Tiger Private is looking for an experienced Private Carer for one of our clients who receives 24-hour care.

The role is for a daytime carer, covering an additional waking night shift per week and weekends as part of the shared rota which will change each two weeks.

Having the correct qualifications as well as vast experience in supporting private patients with Parkinsons is essential. Experience with Lewy Body Dementia is also desirable. Additionally, experience with using a Sara Stedy hoist and sufficient physical strength is required for moving the patient.

You will be used to providing all aspects of personal care, including use of a Stoma and monitoring and arranging medicine on a strict schedule.

The client needs mental stimulation, he likes to engage in sport, travel and general conversation. There will be occasional trips to shops and you will accompany him to his medical appointments.
