Applicant’s Responsibilities: Document Preparation: Drafting & formatting legal documents (pleadings, affidavits, briefs, memoranda & discovery requests) Proofreading documents for accuracy & compliance with legal formatting standards Compiling & organizing legal documents with case files Case Management: Opening new case files, recording relevant information & updating case management systems Tracking deadlines, court dates & important milestones in litigation cases Maintaining detailed case files with proper organization and indexing Scheduling and Communication, Administrative Tasks: Scheduling court appearances, depositions, client meetings & conferences Communicating with clients to provide updates on case progress & gather necessary information.
