Literacy Instructor

Brandon Literacy Council Inc. is seeking a motivated, experienced Part Time Literacy Instructor to join our team and support adult learners in improving English reading, writing, and comprehension skills.

Location: Brandon, Manitoba

Key responsibilities

• Deliver one on one and small and group literacy instruction for adults.
• Assess learners skill levels and create individualized learning plans.
• Use evidence based adult literacy teaching strategies and plain language materials.
• Track learner progress, maintain confidential records, and report outcomes.

Required qualifications

• Proven experience teaching adult literacy or basic education.
• Canadian residency (must be legally authorized to work in Canada).
• Proficiency in English reading, writing, listening, and comprehension.
