Linux Kernel and Containerization Subject Matter Expert (SME)

Overview


i3 is seeking a motivated Linux Kernel and Containerization Subject Matter Expert (SME) that can work with a diverse team to monitor, update, and support THAAD Hardware-in-the-loop (HWIL), Digital and simulation labs. Seeking a candidate with a strong background in containerization, Linux, Kernels, software development and security. Knowledge with a configuration management focus is a plus. Must be able to work in a team environment. This lab supports the THAAD weapons system.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills both oral and written; exhibit the ability to adapt and thrive in a dynamic, customer focused work environment.


Responsibilities


+ Kernel & OS Engineering: Serve as the SME for Linux kernel customization. Install, configure, and maintain system hardware/software across RHEL 7-10 environments.
