Line Boring Specialist

The Opportunity

CITIC Pacific Mining is seeking experienced Line Boring Specialist to join our fabrication team on a permanent 2/1 roster, FIFO ex Perth.

Reporting to the Fabrication Supervisor, this role is responsible for Line boring and bore welding of HME and fixed plant equipment.

In this role you’ll be responsible for:

• Setting up and operates boring machines to bore, drill, facing, grooving workpieces according to specifications.
• Undertaking welding repairs when and where required using line boring requirements, apply knowledge of line boring procedures and machining methods.
• Reading blueprint or job order for specifications, such as hole locations and dimensions, and tooling instructions, such as fixtures, feed rates, cutting speeds, and cutting tools to be used.
