In accordance with the established mission, vision, values, and strategic priorities of Northern Health, and under the general supervision of Manager or designate, the Life Skills Worker (LSW) - Specialized Substance Use Stabilization/MHSU Outreach provides outreach community-based support services, assisting in mental health and substance use treatment. The LSW provides life skills training, coaching, advocacy, and support to individuals experiencing mental health, substance use, behavioral, and developmental problems and to their caregivers/families, in accordance with an established plan of treatment/care.
