**Job Description**

The Department of Pediatrics – Division of Critical Care Medicine is seeking a Life Science Research Professional (LSRP1) to conduct clinical research in the Haileselassie Lab. The LSRP1 will work under general guidance from the Principal Investigator and senior lab members across a broad array of biomedical sciences. Performance of technical procedures, interpretation of results, recognition of irregularities, and recommendations for modification of techniques and approaches will be an essential part of this role. The LSRP1 may assist in training new staff and students on techniques as necessary, as well as assisting with duties such as ordering supplies, maintaining lab records, and adhering to all Stanford safety regulations.

The LSRP1 must be self-motivated, a quick learner, technically adept, accurate, efficient, organized, and able to keep detailed records. The ability to work under tight deadlines with general guidance is essential. The LSRP...
