**Job Description**

The Kuo Lab, within the Division of Pediatric Pulmonary Medicine is seeking a Life Science Research Professional with computational experience, and background in biomedical sciences. The Kuo laboratory uses interdisciplinary approaches to study lung neuroendocrine cell development and function using both animal models and human tissues. Examples of approaches include in vivo genetic studies to complement single cell transcriptomic and multiomic data analysis. The candidate will be mentored closely by faculty and will be encouraged to contribute to publications, present work at meetings and participate in weekly lab meetings. The ideal candidates will have experience or requisite skills to work with large data sets, have general knowledge of basic programming languages and be interested in developing biological knowledge to address medically-important questions.
