Principal Designer - Piping
The Principal Designer - Piping is responsible for performing detailed design activities in the Piping discipline.
Essential Functions
- Perform complex designs and layouts of Piping & Instrument Diagrams, Piping Plans, Sections & Isometrics and Piping Bill of Materials utilizing CAD hardware and software.
- Communicate and coordinate between offices in Mexico City and Houston
- Review vendor drawings and information.
- Train and direct designers and other CAD personnel.
- Ability to function in lead role on projects.
Qualifications
- 10 years of CAD experience
- 15 or more years of design experience in a design/drafting environment developing Piping & Instrument Designs (P&IDs), 3D Models, piping plans and sections and piping bills of materials generated from 3D models.
- Bilingual in Spanish and English
