Licensed Therapist / Speech Language Pathologist / New York / Speech Language Pathologist (SLP)

A nonprofit organization in New York City is looking to add a new, licensedSpeech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join one of their schools throughout the 5 boroughs. In this role, theSpeech Language Pathologist (SLP)will be responsible for providing speech and language services to individuals pursuant to the Individualized Family, Service or Education Plan (IFSP, IEP, ISP).

Responsibilities:

TheSpeech Language Pathologist (SLP)will:

• Conduct various tests to evaluate speech and language status of consumer
• Planand conductspeech language interventions, therapies and treatments
• Implementtesting procedures to evaluate and monitor participant progress following stated treatment period as required by appropriate regulatory agency
• Assessoral motor development and ability to intake food orally and developa treatment plan appropriate to identified disabilities, subject to professional licensure requirements established by respective funding source
