About the Role:
The Licensed Practical Nurse for Outpatient Wound Care plays a critical role in delivering specialized nursing care to patients with acute and chronic wounds within an outpatient setting. The LPN is responsible for planning and providing care for patients with complicated wounds, pressure ulcers, and/or any patient who has a potential skin care problem to assist the patient in achieving a maximum level of wellness and independence. The nurse collaborates closely with multidisciplinary teams including physicians, therapists, and nutritionists to ensure holistic patient care.
