General Duties:
- Lead the NICU 24/7 to ensure safe, high-quality nursing care.
- Oversee daily operations, staffing, and patient flow.
- Report to the Nursing Director of Women, Infants, and Children.
- Supervise all clinical and ancillary staff in the NICU.
- Mentor Clinical Managers and Resource Nurses.
- Manage schedules for both shifts.
- Ensure compliance with standards, policies, and regulatory requirements.
- Support action plans and department goals with the Director.
- Maintain current policies and procedures with the Director and Clinical Educator.
- Round on families after admission and resolve concerns.
- Maintain compliance with Title 22, TJC, CDPH , and CCS .
- Serve as an expert consultant on complex patient care.
