Legal Specialist

Responsibilities

• Legal support & advisory to business divisions within the Maxis group to facilitate contracts and dealings with third parties.
• Collaborate with various departments within the Maxis group especially the consumer business and sales & services teams to understand their requirements and concerns with a view to provide legal advisory and support – this will facilitate the operations of the Maxis group while ensuring compliance
• Draft, review and negotiate commercial contracts e.g. partnership and collaboration agreements with retail service providers, merchants, distributors, resellers, dealers etc.
• Draft and review customer’s terms and conditions on retail product and services
• Provide legal advice on business operations relating to compliance such as areas involving the Consumer Protection Act 1999, Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission Act 2009 and the Personal Data Protection Act 2010
