Legal Operations Specialist

The Role:

We are looking for a Legal Operations Specialist to join the MDA Space Legal team. In this role, you will provide support to the MDA Space legal department in a variety of areas including project management, technology matters, finance and budget management and designing of legal and cross‑functional processes to ensure efficiency in the delivery of legal services across the MDA Space business.

Job Responsibilities:

• Manage the day‑to‑day operations of the legal function, including planning, prioritization, and tracking of team workstreams and initiatives.
• Support routine public company compliance matters, including certain regulatory filings.
• Support with management of corporate records and affiliates.
• Build, monitor and track external spending budgets and support with the general management of external counsel and support with the maintenance of the legal department’s annual operating plan.
