Legal Director

Our client is a global e-commerce leader with a substantial, evolving legal functions spanning the US, EMEA and APAC. Ahead of a potential IPO, this is a rare opportunity to lead the regional legal function with genuine breadth and real global peer support.

The Company & Role Coverage

• Global e-commerce group, pre-IPO, with 20+ headcount in Legal in each of the US and EMEA regions outside of Asia.
• Highly specialised legal function — product and trade compliance, IP, data protection, and internal audit/controls (including ABAC) sit in separate teams, so this is a pure legal role
• Company secretarial matters handled through external counsel and service providers
• 6 direct reports across tech, corporate, ESG, legal ops, commercial contracts, regulatory and employment (junior to mid-level)
