Legal Counsel

Role Overview

We are looking for a Legal Counsel to join our Legal team in Lisbon, Portugal, reporting to the Head of Legal, Iberia. The Legal Counsel will support Sonnedix’s legal strategy, risk management and compliance across our Portuguese operations. The role includes providing legal support for energy transactions, project financing, commercial contracts, employment, property, corporate secretarial matters and ensuring compliance with global policies.

Responsibilities

• Provide legal support for complex energy transactions and project financing.
• Draft, review and negotiate commercial agreements such as EPC, O&M, PPAs, DSAs, ISDA.
• Handle employment, property, and corporate secretarial matters.
• Ensure compliance with Portuguese law, regulatory framework, and Sonnedix global policies.
• Maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
