Legal Counsel - Clinical Trials Focus

Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre seeks a Legal Counsel specialized in clinical trials. Successful candidates will have 3-5 years of experience in clinical trial or commercial healthcare contracting.
This role is integral to the legal services team, directly impacting the execution of agreements for both industry-sponsored and investigator-initiated trials. You will work closely with teams to simplify contracting, ensuring quick turnaround while mitigating risk and prioritizing institutional goals.
Key Responsibilities:
• Draft and negotiate clinical trial agreements
• Work with stakeholders for timely contract execution
• Improve contracting processes and documentation
• Provide clear legal advice to research teams
• Assess and address legal and regulatory risks
Requirements:
• Member of the Law Society of Ontario with an LL.B. or J.D.
• 3-5 years in clinical trial or research contracting
