Lecturer in Molecular Biology & Biochemistry

We are seeking an enthusiastic Lecturer in Biochemistry (Maternity Cover) to join the Department of Biomolecular Sciences. You will contribute to the educational activities including delivery of undergraduate and postgraduate degrees in Biochemistry and other bioscience disciplines. In this role you will plan, develop, and deliver high-quality, inclusive and innovative teaching and assessments in collaboration with academics within the team. You will also be expected to contribute to the evidence-base of research in the subject discipline. The role will require some administrative responsibilities and the supervision of undergraduate research projects.

The Person

You will have a first degree in Biochemistry or a related bioscience subject, with a PhD in a bioscience discipline. Teaching experience is desirable, but we also would strongly encourage applications from individuals otherwise qualified.
