The Department of Religion and Theologyisseekinga qualifiedand versatileLecturer in Comparative Religions, withexpertisein Asian religions.

Thisis a fixed term maternity cover 0.7FTE role starting on 1 Sept. 2026 through to 31st of August 2027 or the return of the current post holder.

The successful candidate willbe responsible forteaching modules on Asian religions, with a particular emphasis on Buddhism, as well as a module on Religions and Material Culture. They will alsoconvenean introductory module on Approaches to the Study of Religionsand co-teach afieldwork-based module.
