Position Overview

We are looking for a Lecturer in Business Information Systems at LAB University of Applied Sciences. The position starts September 1, 2026. The role is based at the Lahti campus, with occasional presence at the Lappeenranta campus.

What you will do

As a lecturer, you will be part of the business information systems team, developing teaching, guidance, and RDI activities for the information systems degree program. Your tasks include:

• Teaching in person and online on subjects such as marketplace platforms and usability.
• Planning and developing curriculum in areas like User Experience (UX), Customer Experience (CX), and digital platforms.
• Supervising student projects, theses, and practical training.
• Assessing student performance.
• Participating in research, development, and innovation (RDI) activities and cooperation with the business community.
