Learning Strategies Specialist

The successful candidate

will be expected to work both independently and collaboratively, will report to the Learning Strategies Coordinator, and will have responsibilities that include (but are not limited to):Communicating clearly with staff, students, and parents in person and by email The use of multiple approaches to teaching and supporting diverse learners The use of a calm and respectful demeanor that fosters positive engagement with students who have social-emotional challenges or developmental disorders Demonstrate professional value in diversity as it relates to all people, including aspects of identity, as well as having respect for Indigenous traditions and ways of knowing Collaborate with LS team on case management Support the student with organization and planning strategies to complete schoolwork Comfortable working on various computer platforms used in the school (Google Suite - docs, sheets, slides, email, etc.) Track student progress Requirements...
