About the Role
A SEND school in Hackney are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Learning Mentor (SEND) to their team. The successful candidate will work closely with students who have Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), providing tailored support to help them overcome barriers to learning, achieve their potential, and develop confidence and independence.
Key Responsibilities
Provide one-to-one and small-group mentoring for students with SEND.
Support students' academic, social, emotional, and behavioural development.
Assist in the implementation of individual learning plans and interventions.
Build positive and trusting relationships with students, families, and staff.
Monitor student progress and maintain accurate records.
