Lead Transportation Asst (OA)

Summary This position is located at the VA Pacific Islands Health Care System (VAPIHCS), Honolulu, HI and is assigned to the Health Administration Service. This position will also serve to assist the VA Community Based Outpatient Clinics and is expected to work closely with all administrative staff and members of the health care team. Responsibilities Duties: Responsibilities and duties include, but not limited to: Responsible for ensuring the Beneficiary Travel office staff provide transportation to beneficiaries and their attendants traveling to and from VA facilities and other VA authorized places for examination, treatment, or care. Plan, assign, review, accept/reject work complete by subordinates and able to provide initial training and remedial training when necessary.
