Job Overview Junior position based in Cape Town. The core role of a Research Analyst in World-Check is to provide search and analysis through reputable sources related to publicly exposed persons (PEP), companies, and institutions. Re‑define raw data into relevant insights for informed decision‑making and support clients to align with Know Your Customer (KYC) regulations and reduce financial or reputational risk of a missed investment. Daily Tasks Use open‑source research methods to collect data from the public domain and review reputable media, government, regulatory, and law‑enforcement sources to build and maintain relevant data. Maintain proficient typing skills for efficient and accurate data entry. Collect data on an in‑house system or learn to do so. Ensure data extraction from news articles aligns with company guidelines and standards.
