Summary The Lexington VAMC PA IV will serve as the Facility Lead of the PA staff and have demonstrated a reputable record of clinical experience and an exceptional knowledge base concerning the numerous functions involved in the delivery of patient care. The facility Lead PA will possess the ability to interact effectively with a variety of medical and surgical specialists, health care team members, and senior administrative staff. Responsibilities Duties may include but are not limited to: All consultations, reports of histories and physical examinations, and special examination records written by the PA will clearly identify the provider as a physician assistant Leadership: Participation in staff meetings, hospital committees, and peer review process. Demonstrate effective communication to other staff and up to leadership, to include input to heads up messages (for acute patient bad outcomes) and issue briefs.
