Role Summary / Purpose: We are looking for a Lead New Product Introduction (NPI) Engineer focusing on valve technology to join our global FACTS (NPI) team. The position will be based in Tampere, Finland.
GE Vernova Grid Solutions Oy delivers mainly high‑power (>100 MVAr) Flexible AC Transmission Systems (FACTS), Static Synchronous Compensators (STATCOM), Static Var Compensators (SVC), Fixed Series Capacitors (FSC) and Synchronous Condensers (SC). These devices control power system voltage and reactive power flow, improve system stability and transmission efficiency, and enable the integration of renewables for a more sustainable future.
The Product Delivery Group (PDG) for power‑electronics based products STATCOM and SVC is in Tampere, Finland, while the PDG for FSC and SC is in Saratoga Springs, United States.
