Lead HSSE Officer (Projects)

The incumbent will support the TPD Construction Team in delivering and sustaining SLNG’s HSSE KPIs across all phases of project construction. This role requires proactive engagement with internal stakeholders to identify, manage, and resolve HSSE risks and challenges.

The proactive HSSE Officer will provide strong on-site leadership, working in close partnership with EPC contractors and subcontractors to enforce HSSE standards, influence safe behaviours, and deliver a disciplined, predictable, and incident-free construction environment.

• Review, monitor, and enforce the EPC contractor’s Project HSSE Plan, Risk Assessments (RAs), Safe Work Procedures (SWPs). Oversee the site Permit-to-Work (PTW) system, ensure all high-risk activities are properly authorized and controls are in place before work commences.
