The Challenge Ahead
As Lead Engineer Electrical & Instrumentation, you will play a critical role in shaping the electrical and instrumentation engineering scope and design for the Jansen Potash Project and Asset. You will provide technical leadership and assurance across high‑ and low‑voltage systems, ensuring solutions are safe, compliant, cost‑effective, and aligned with BHP standards and statutory requirements. Your work will directly support the successful delivery of one of Canada’s most significant mining developments.
Key Responsibilities
- Govern the Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) as‑built operational blueprint and assure the blueprint information at handover from all projects.
- Set and govern a minimum sufficient set of E&I engineering standards and specifications for the operation.
- Monitor critical assets within the E&I Operational blueprint and provide input into the LoA and 2YB on required renewals/replacements.
