The Lead Data Center Technician is responsible for overseeing and executing complex structured cabling and fiber infrastructure installations within new construction data center environments. This role combines advanced technical expertise with team leadership, ensuring fiber and cabling systems are installed, tested, and documented according to project specifications and industry standards. The Lead Technician supervises field technicians, coordinates installation activities, and works closely with project leadership to maintain project timelines, safety compliance, and quality standards. This position plays a key role in delivering large-scale infrastructure builds while maintaining professional communication with team members, contractors, and project stakeholders.
