About the role

We are looking for experienced enthusiastic, friendly and self-motivated Laundry Services Assistant to support residents in daily living,

Working as part of a friendly and close-knit team, your focus will be:

Collect, sort, wash, dry and distribute clothing/linen

Maintain adequate stocks of supplies at all times

Ensure chemicals are available for washing and the correct wash cycle is used for all loads

Ensure heavily soiled items are handled in line with Infection Control Procedures

About you

You are an enthusiastic, motivated, self-starter who is eager to develop a career in aged care. To be considered for these roles, you will need

Interpersonal skills including the ability to communicate effectively and compassionately

Strong initiative and ability to work without supervision
