PeopleCare seeks a reliable Laundry Aide to efficiently manage laundry tasks while adhering to quality and safety standards. Enjoy a flexible work schedule of either 52.5 or 31.5 hours bi-weekly.
This position involves performing essential laundry activities, including sorting, washing, drying, and folding linens and clothing for residents. You will follow prescribed procedures while ensuring safety and cleanliness in the laundry area. Coordination with other departments is essential to meeting residents' needs and maintaining high standards in laundry services.
Key Responsibilities:
• Sort and classify laundry by condition and weight
• Wash and dry items as per departmental instructions
• Fold and deliver linens to the correct units
• Report malfunctions and assist with maintaining equipment
• Uphold confidentiality and safety regulations
Requirements:
• Basic understanding of laundry machine operations
• Ability to follow written and oral instructions
