Job Summary

Under supervision of the Landscape Development Coordinator, this position prepares designs and contract documents and administers contracts for all park and public open space development undertaken by the Department.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Prepares designs, presentation drawings, working drawings, estimates, specifications and tender documents for landscape projects.
• Attends and participates at public meetings to gather public input, address park programming needs and deliver concept presentations.
• Carries out all aspects of project management for assigned landscape construction, including initiating and evaluating tenders, awarding contracts and supervising the development of urban parks and recreation projects.
