Responsibilities
- Provide breastfeeding consultations to mothers
- Develop and implement personalized lactation care plans
- Educate mothers and families about breastfeeding techniques and benefits
- Assess and address common breastfeeding issues such as latch difficulties and low milk supply
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive care
- Offer emotional support and encouragement to breastfeeding mothers
- Conduct breastfeeding classes and workshops
- Maintain detailed records of patient interactions and treatment plans
Qualifications
- International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) credential
- Experience in maternal or child health care as a DHA Registered Midwife
- Ability to provide compassionate and patient-centered care
