Labourer – Summer Student

Position Overview

Join the Finning Canada family, part of the world’s largest Caterpillar dealer. We are currently recruiting a Labourer to join the team at our Red Deer location. As a labourer, you will support efficient shop operations by performing low‑complexity tasks that contribute directly to workplace organization, safety, and process flow in alignment with Finning Opx standards. If you are mechanically inclined this might be the perfect job for you.

Starting Wage: $26.37 - $29.47/hr

Responsibilities

• Support technicians with simple mechanical tasks such as guard removal/installation and tool retrieval.
• Organize and stage parts to ensure technicians have the necessary items at the right time.
• Move used parts and materials in and out of the shop to maintain a smooth workflow.
• Prepare and clean work areas to minimize waste and waiting time.
