Mission

Terus Construction, a division of Colas Western Canada Inc., is hiring a seasonal labourer for our operations.

This is a unionized position based in Prince Rupert, BC.

Main Responsibilities

• General labourer duties associated with road construction operations
• Required ability to shovel, rake and handle other small tools
• Responsible for maintaining the quality of the mat by filling holes, raking, sweeping and get it ready for the rolling operation.
• Responsible for ensuring all the necessary tools are ready to go on the appropriate trucks for the day ahead.
• Aid the paver operator, screed operator, roller operator and foreman to enable them to focus on their jobs.
• Assist in keeping all the equipment fueled, watered, greased, and cleaned
• Operate equipment as needed
• Yard, plant and equipment clean up as needed
