Role

The Labourer is responsible for performing general construction activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Comply with SMJV and client and OH&S safety practices and procedures.
• Assist tradesmen in completing daily tasks.
• Gathering tools and materials as requested by foreperson/journeyman.
• Assist with loading and unloading of materials.
• Assisting crew with structural steel and piping installation.
• General labour duties as requested by foreperson.
• Operate hand and power tools.
• Daily work area clean up.
• Attend daily safety/toolbox meetings.
• Complete daily Field Level Hazard Assessments.
• Set up and install trench boxes.
