Laborer (Motor Vehicle Operating)

Summary You will serve as a Laborer (Motor Vehicle Operating) located at the National Capital Parks-East, Washington, DC. The primary purpose of the position is to perform laboring duties that require significant manual skill, prior work experience or training, and very heavy physical effort. Pay will vary based on grade level and/or duty location for which you're selected. First time hires to the Federal government normally start at the lower salary range of the grade level. Responsibilities The major duties of the Laborer (Motor Vehicle Operating) include, but are not limited to, the following: Operates large, complex riding lawn mowers that have multiple or independently controlled cutting decks, and/or specially designed mowers that operate on slopes; lawn and garden tractors with various specialty attachments. Operates other types of equipment (e.g., lawn edging equipment, trimmers, brush cutters, brush chippers, etc.) and hand tools (e.g., shovels, picks, pulaskis, digging bars, ...
