Laboratory Technician

Job Description

The Laboratory Technician carries out various experiments such as color matching, product improvement, RM evaluation, and cost optimization. They prepare powder samples for customer line trials and are responsible for maintaining laboratory equipment, keeping the area organized and clean, and managing the panel library to ensure timely delivery to customers or sales representatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out the experiments designed by the Laboratory Manager/Chemist to develop or match the colors requested by sales teams.
• Maintain the shade panel library and ensure the availability of color panels.
• Produce bulk laboratory samples.
• Maintain the laboratory area neat and clean.

Knowledge and Skills

• Powder chemical knowledge.
• Ability to work with different equipment while following safety rules.
